A 16-year-old was arrested Friday for allegedly committing a series of armed carjackings and robberies over the span of just a few hours in the D.C. area.

D.C.’s Metropolitan Police said a 16-year-old juvenile male of Southeast, D.C. was arrested Friday and charged with armed carjacking and armed robbery along with kidnapping, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of unregistered ammunition, and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

Police said the suspect committed three armed carjackings between 2:44 a.m. and 4:46 a.m. in Southeast, D.C.

The suspect committed an armed robbery and kidnapping just after 10 p.m. later that evening, police said.

Then, between 4:32 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. the following morning, the suspect allegedly committed six more armed robberies in the Southeast and Northeast, police said.

Though spread out between Wednesday and Thursday, the crime spree was approximately three hours in total.

Police did not release additional details about the suspect’s identity and the case remains under investigation.

Carjackings remain a pervasive problem in the D.C. area and the perpetrators are increasingly juveniles. Last week, a 12-year-old boy was arrested in connection with an armed carjacking at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue and U Street in Southeast D.C.

Years ago, there was some dolt TV reporter in Detroit. DETROIT, the Motor City, Motown.

He told us to be on the lookout for a gray Bonneville, Pontiac.

To make matters worse, he repeated himself.

Completely understandable. He wanted to be on time for the Sunday school class he was teaching.

“Can’t believe ,someone didn’t put a bullet, in that jerkoff.”

Years ago, there was a major shootout between four drug dealers and federal agents. A fed was making a buy and covered by at least a dozen agents. Someone in the dealer’s car recognized the undercover guy. The undercover agent hit the ground and several hundred shots were fired at close range. NO ONE WAS HIT. Even though the undercover agent was in danger not one agent was able to shoot to protect him at close range. An investigation determined that the agents were so concerned about what killing someone would do to their life and career that they were incapable of even firing to protect THEMSELVES. The results of the investigation were changed when the report was released to, “everyone was retrained and required to spend more range time.” But, in answer to the question, the badder or blacker the guy, the less danger he’s in from our “protectors.”

Probably a Glock with a full auto switch.

They're all over the 'hood these days. Soros prosecutors often look the other way, loath to bring federal NFA charges up against these scholars and honor roll students.

I have a Nextdoor account. I hadn’t used it for some time, and when I tried to log in I found I was suspended. Still not sure why, but I must have shared a truth that some Karen didn’t like.

My suspension has since been lifted, but I din’t comment there any more.

Now, don't you let your 16 year old go out at 4am... 🤓. He wasn't stealing them, he wanted to test drive them, so when he discover the cure for cancer, he can buy his mom, his dad, who is a hard working guy in a business he co-founded, and himself new cars...🤓.

Maybe he wasn't stealing them, maybe he works at a REPO DEALER, and drive them back if the owners don't pay the bank. 🤓

We don't know he may be on the honor roll at school... 🤓

Let’s find out the makes of the vehicles and then sue the manufacturers for failing to make the vehicles carjack-proof.

Son lives across the river in Arlington, VA & it took him about a year to get his cc license & this is with having top secret clearance. Getting it in DC is near impossible unless you’re law enforcement in DC. When he goes into DC, he still carries but puts it in his trunk before going into the store, restaurant etc.
