I don't think that I would start an argument with any of them. Of course, my late wife was descended from Lizzie Borden - her family, I guess.

My dear little wife is from a very old school Montana ranching family....was reported to have been helping with livestock since she was in grade school.

Nope, we don't do arguments around Grandma. She says something and I just say "Yes dear."

there was a gelding that was faster than greased lightening. Work out times were out of this world.
Yet, at race time, he couldn’t leave the gate when the bell rang.
Turns out he the gelding was embarrassed as the track announcer screamed....”annnnd they’re off”
