@ 74 I am still playing some courses from the tips. The last one was 6900+ yards. Shot a 90...41-49...grrrr.
I still have the distance but I don’t have the game for that.
Heck I don’t have the game I should have from the senior tees @ 5800-ish
I look more toward course rating/slop than yards.
If you want a rough estimate of which tees to play from, times your 5 iron distance by 36.
Seems short to me, but I heard this from a teaching pro.
Lost 8 balls yesterday. I just shut golf down for the rest of the year.
My knees are on fire and until I get that fixed, it’s useless.

6900 yards is an impressive yardage to still shoot 90. You’re too hard on yourself, stylin. Bad knees on a golfer is a tough break though. There shouldn’t be much standing in the way of keeping your short game sharp until the knees are replaced. Between the new knees and a great short game, you’ll have no trouble at all breaking 90 from the tips.
