With all of this popping of champagne in the West over a slowdown in China, GDP growth is still forecast to be 4.5 to 5% amidst a global slowdown and looming recession. US GDP growth is forecast to be under 2% in 2023 and a domestic recession is predicted for the end of the year, moving into 2024.
