I've thought about that, too. Logically, if one believes the Dems have mastered the cheat, then it makes zero difference who the GOP nominates, they will lose.
Would it be better to have Trump lose, and call out the cheating - or have one of the other candidates, say Nikki Haley lose and pretend it was a legit election, while going quietly into retirement?
If the GOP is doomed to lose anyway, why not run Trump?

Vlad: Agreed. I think CaptainSpitBall may need to adjust his definitions. Per his own tagline, he is advocating for a “conservative dictator”. By definition, an actual conservative would not be a dictator. Dictators are typically leftist, authoritarian communists, or socialists, like we have in office now. The strongest of conservative leaders still put the people and the Constitution first.

We won’t be going back to the Republicans choosing a designated loser while the Democrats arrange to win and the press covers for them. It won’t work this time.
The totalitarian left will have to make it’s move in order to hold on to power. That’s when we find out if all the hopium we’ve been consuming was in vain.
