I don’t see how McConnell can continue in his leadership role. He has done well on judges but suspicions and appearances of compromise due to his Chinese wife are a big problem. But, again, his strong arm on judges kept Grandma Garland off the Supreme Court. Remember when they tried to sell GG as moderate? He is doing enough damage but at least not for a lifetime.

If Thune, Cornyn, and Barroso, Ernst, Capito, and Daines appear to be waiting in the wings. It would be great to find out their Achilles heel of compromise before they get to the big show of Senate Leader. None of them excite me. Their RHINO behavior is likely exactly how they got to be in leadership.

McConnell did well on judges solely because he was in a position where he had to. Trump had him politically cornered - otherwise, he’s have been yucking it up with his “friends across the aisle” like Chuck U. Schumer, and pushing the latest abortionist, globalist, special interest group apologist to the Supreme Court.

If McConnell were worth spit, he’d certainly be speaking out against having the J6 political prisoners rotting in DC jails because of a dem-orchestrated setup. And he’d be making all kinds of noise about the stolen election. But he’s not. He’s more than happy to side with the commies across the aisle on these issues and more.

Nope - McConnell is a member of the uniparty, and thus serves the same master, and that master is not the Constitution nor the electorate.
He needs to go regardless.
