interesting. Ive never had that happen while videoing lightning storms. But I didn’t use landscape mode and I think 35mm is way more fun.

Yes, those are Digital Camera lightning effects.
(Not evidence of Directed Energy Weapons.)

You will get entirely different effects using a shutter based 35MM film camera.

In digital cameras, sensor sensitivity, size, settings and speed will also vary the results.
