I didn't redefine any words. I simply showed how definitions of words change over time.
Words can mean more than one thing.

And scientism does have a couple of definitions. It just doesn’t have a meaning that has anything to do with your flat Earth argument.

In its earliest, Medieval, form it merely refers to the methods of science. Empirical science.

In its 20th century usage, from Hayek and Popper, it means the improper claim to be using the tools of hard science in social science fields where they don’t apply.

The flat Earth debate hinges on what physical evidence tells us about the shape of the Earth. That’s entirely an argument within the world of hard science where measurement is everything.

If you want to explain how you think “scientism” applies to your flat Earth argument then tell us how it does that.
