Granted, I’m exhausted.

BS meter is pegged. Nobody is shaking or vibrating. Total BS.

I saw it in person. I set the alarm for 2:30, woke, and dragged a lawn chair out to the shore at Cocoa Beach. The dark sky was clear and the stars were as sharp as pins. Suddenly, the northern horizon lit up and glowed bright orange-yellow as Space X lifted off. The rocket angled to the east as it rose higher on a knife-like jet of flame and got smaller until it was almost a red dot. Then, after about thirty seconds, there was a flash with a ring of white light as the first stage separated and the second stage continued upward. Now there were two red dots in the sky, one falling, the other rising. The wind carried a faint whiff of kerosene and in a minute or two the launch area lit up again as the first stage returned. Finally, there was a double boom which shook the ground. It was quite a show, and there is another launch scheduled for tonight.
