To be fair, Weimer did not cause WW2. The Nazis actually stamped out Weimer.

I guess you could argue that Naziism was an overreaction to Weimer, so Weimer still bears some blame for WW2 in the chain of causality.

Hopefully, there won't be an overreaction to modern globohomo, only a proper correction. But with Islamists in the mix, you never know.
