I’ve been using Restasis for at least 10 years. It’s very expensive so when the generic came out, I was thrilled. There are a few other alternatives, but they are equally as expensive.
It’s prescribed for extremely dry eyes that no other medication will help.
No side effects for me and it works.
Most doctors don’t concern themselves with the underlying causes - they treat symptoms (like dry eyes).
They treated my dad’s reflux for 15 years, rather than addressing the underlying cause (heliobacter). As a result, he died from adenocarcinoma caused by years of acid eating away at the esophagus (that was being treated with patent medicine).
We found out about a few doses of the right antibiotics would have cured his reflux, after he died. Even though a doctor won the nobel prize for discovering this way back in 2005, THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY STILL TREATS REFLUX THE SAME WAY.....Lots of people are dying just like my Dad did.
I urge you to educate yourself on your health, and take responsibility for it.
It may be you are on the best path for your problem, but the likelihood is not high, given the state of medical care, and “Big Pharma”s almost total control over what is prescribed and how disease is treated.
