Bizarre moment three Washington teens who stole Kia as part of TikTok challenge are found by cops hiding in locked PortaPotty after high-speed chase

A group of teenagers who stole a Kia as part of a TikTok challenge were found hiding in a locked portable toilet following a high-speed chase where they crashed the car.

The incident happened in Thurston County, Washington on Wednesday and was captured on police cameras.

There were six people in the stolen car, including five teenagers, and police received reports of a hit and run. The driver was spotted driving erratically and officers tried to pull them over.

But they tried to get away and reached speeds of up to 70mph on a 25mph road. The driver, who police said was drunk, lost control of the car and crashed.

They tried to continue driving but officers made a sudden pit maneuver and brought the vehicle to the stop. Three suspects sprinted out and were later found inside a portable toilet.

Dashcam footage released by Thurston County Sheriff's Office shows a police car pursing the stolen Kia.

It eventually catches up to the vehicle and the panicked driver loses control and crashes into the side of the road.

The group tried to drive away but a deputy performed a pit maneuver to stop the car. That sees the front of a cop car strike one of the back tires of the car it is chasing, sending the vehicle into a spin which usually stops it.

Another officer got out and approached the car but the teenagers ditched the Kia and ran way.

Bodycam footage shows authorities searching for the group in a lumber depot using a police dog.

The animal takes an interest in a locked portable toilet and the officer shouts: 'Hey, locked.'

how hard is it to superglue a male usb into one of these vulnerable female KIA orifices.

I don’t have a kia and have never driven a Korean car, but I did almost test drive a Stinger once.

Six people in a Kia makes it hard to have a high speed chase. Of course the police caught up to them

I love my Kia but it is a gutless wonder

“how hard is it to superglue a male usb into one of these vulnerable female KIA orifices.”

The problem is that the ignition lock in the steering column is not well protected and can be pried out. What that leaves is the electrical switch which has a hole in it that is close enough to the size of a usb that you can use that (or almost anything else) to turn it. Removal also unlocks the column.

There is no immobilizer that requires a key with a chip in it to allow the car to start.

Think they pixelated them enough?

Why didn’t they “accidentally” knock over the porta potty? Course they would have had to deal with the stench in the patrol car.

Those teens will probably be put in time out without social media privileges for 5 minutes per today’s rules for punishing kids that disobey.

It must have been some tiny car thieves. Six of them fit in a Kia and the smallest three of them fit in a potta-potty.
