Think of the shame, and the horror for them as grandparents to those nice-looking kids, one of whom has a lifetime serious illness.
Wonder if she was also raised Mormon, like the victim? I've heard that sometimes the children of teetotaling families suddenly discover that they have alcoholic genes when they go away from home and cut loose. Cannot imagine why a woman from her background would have taken up with an obviously sketchy guy and wrecked her body also unless she had serious rage issues from growing up and turned to substance abuse. Maybe he was her drug dealer.
