Lefty long knives come out for Kamala
American Thinker ^ | 13 Aug, 2023 | Thomas Lifson

A truly nasty "fact check" from Politifact targets the imbecilic veep.

With Joe Biden’s physical and mental health an obvious issue, his and sex and race-driven choice of Kamala Harris as his veep is worrisome for the less delusional Democrats. They know that the prospect of her inheriting the presidency might scare away some voters from a ticket headed by a then-80 year old in 2024, or if, God forbid, Biden’s life were cut short after the nominating convention, they would be stuck with an obviously imbecilic candidate.

But Biden, or those who pull his puppet strings, seems to be sticking by Kamala. In an email to supporters, he wrote:

“Picking Kamala as my eventual vice president was one of the best decisions I made as a presidential nominee,” the president said.

Three years ago today, President @JoeBiden announced @KamalaHarris as his running mate.

The same message was also tweeted out by “The Democrats” X (formerly Twitter) account, asking Dems to reply by telling where they were when they heard the news, as if it were one of the most important moments of their lives.

But other Democrats are unsheathing their long knives in an effort to scare off supporters from inflicting the frequently incoherent Kamala on the party and the nation a second time. See, for example, a truly nasty “fact check” from reliably leftist Politifact.

Choosing Kamala’s statement on ABC television, ““There are polls that also say I have great approval ratings,” Politifact wrote:

No recent public poll shows Kamala Harris with ‘great approval ratings’

IF YOUR TIME IS SHORT

- Among more than 100 publicly released polls dating to October 2021, none shows Vice President Kamala Harris with approval ratings that outweigh disapproval ratings.

Why are the Demos worried about their cardboard cutout Kammy?

Look at Dianne Feinstein, Lurch in Pennsylvania and The Tater in DC. Those cardboard cutouts are doing just fine.

I hope you are wrong. I want both to be the rat team for 2024. They both are, as well as their party, badly damaged. More damage to our nation has occurred with this bunch in control than could ever have been imagined during the obama years. And this gift coming straight from Hell just keeps on giving. I cannot see how they could possibly be reelected in a sane world, which is all the reason to see them up for reelection.

Because we don’t live in a sane world? Look around. Believe what you see not what you want.

In an email to supporters, the confused Biden wrote: “Picking Kamala as my eventual vice president was one of the best decisions I made as a presidential nominee.”

Has a modicum of truth since everything he’s done since then has been is all downhill.

Nevertheless, if, God forbid, Biden’s life were cut short after the nominating convention, nervous Democrats would be stuck with an obviously imbecilic candidate.

“I cannot see how they could possibly be reelected in a sane world”

There was no ‘Red Wave’ after massive Bideninflation.

The federal handouts are truly on a massive level.

The Democrats no longer speak of a mere “safety net”.

It is intriguing to watch the machinations. I fully believe that two competing camps -- the Clintons and the Obamas -- are trying to engineer a "get rid of Harris" maneuver of some sort, prior to the big event, "get-rid-of-Biden."

The structure seems rather simple. Cause some sort of situation that would remove Harris as VP, appoint a Clinton as VP (the Clinton choice) or an Obama as VP (the Obama choice) and then dump Biden by reason of infirmity, at the minimum. Voila! A next Clinton or next Obama ascends to the White House.

Opposing, of course will be the Biden "we can stick it out" group and the Harris "it's MINE!" group, so the internal Democrat politics should get heated rapidly.

That's my guess.

and the bugaboo in it all is RFK, Jr. making the maneuvering quite problematic. Somehow a version of Fort Marcy Park comes to mind in this all.... Could be the old Ron Brown version... But something.

Joe is just following Obama’s precedence by selecting an imbecile as VP.

Leading Democrats know Harris is over her head.

Harris knows she is over her head, however, she feels entitled and feels that the Democratic political machine should be able to put her in office come 2025 just like it did President Potato_Head.

Harris, like other blacks, is ‘sick’ of the ‘white privilege’ that has put Biden and Newsom into power.

‘People of color’ want a share of power equal to their Democratic voting share. Democratic whites are requested, for now, to get out of their way.

Like I’ve said before, watch the VP. Dems only have a little over 14 months to replace the VP at which point Joey the Sniff gets tossed under the bus.

Time is running out. Get the popcorn ready. Think about this, Dems are desperate so is it any wonder that Trump indictments are popping up all of a sudden like mushrooms after a heavy rain?

Ohhhh Look Shiny Object

“The Vice President makes $235,100. A member of the Unites States Congress (both Senators and House Representatives) earn $174,000. Majority and Minority leaders each earn $193,400. And the speaker of the house earns $223,500.”

The premiums aren’t cheap, but the protection can’t be beat.

Kamala should have never been the Democrat pick - she couldn’t garner 2% in the primaries, what made the Dems think she would become more popular once she was VP?

It was explained to me to get the black women vote - but what percentage of the voting population is comprised of black women? They wouldn’t vote Republican, ever.

--- "‘People of color’ want a share of power equal to their Democratic voting share. Democratic whites are requested, for now, to get out of their way."

That's actually an amusing proposition, as I watched the white Democrats in city centers in California cede position to the black Democrats who are now being pushed by the Hispanic Democrats, with Asian Democrats just waiting....

Once identity politics -- an especially racial identity politics -- is launched, the sides will divide into camps, and the camps into warring parties.
