I’ve been watching what a lot of the locals have been saying on social medias. The only thing some of them suspect is how the fires got started. The rest is pretty self explanatory. Once the fires got going, with those high winds, it was like a blast furnace coming down the mountains, sadly. Even witnesses who made it in to the water were talking about the heat blasting them from off the island. Sounds like some people in the water didn’t make it because of that heat.

There is a DEW narrative going around on social medias with what turns out to be fake pics or other events. That’s one reason to rule out DEW’s for now, since that narrative is being deceptively pushed.

My only question is how the fires got started. Whether it was natural or eco-terrorism to push climate change.
