I've seen many pics of this. Where houses all around are burned yet the trees between the houses are ok.
Other then directed weapons. I would say it's possible the gas company could've over pressured the lines. This would brake the pressure regulators allowing full pressure into the house. Building up gas in the house until the gas finds a heat source.
As many of the houses don't simply burn they blow out debris.

Fires hot enough to burn metal are suspect. But, getting a fair evaluation of what happened in a dirty dem run Hawaii will be near impossible,IMHO.
Bannon was all over this trying to get a spokesman to address the totally unusual nature of the fire but not too much happened.
