Christopher Wray, as an aside in making an unrelated point, recently testified before a House Committee ( probably the Judiciary sub- committee) that he personally flew to Las Vegas, during the investigation at Mandalay.
A class graduation is assumed to be the setting, in this case, but is not precisely reported..
Lovely that Wray and dear Barr would attend and celebrate the “TOP COP”, for his recent DS certification, both on hand to highlight the ever emerging pecking order of recruits that Graduation must bring to DS Operations at the Bureau.
“Play ball” and ascend, has taken on a darker meaning in the USA, in the realm of Law & Justice.
Only a cynic might follow a couple of disasters of such awful magnitude, occurring miles apart, would find it a coincidence that the local top cop present for investigating both historic disasters is the same man.
We will undoubtedly be hearing more of Pelletier.
