We have been talking with incoming fishermen. The prices at the processers have collapsed to the point that they can't even cover fuel. Many skippers are hanging it up for the season. Needless to say, this is a HUGE problem for several Southeast Alaska communities.

According to the boat skippers and crews, they heard from the processers (So this is third hand information FWIW) that the Russians are dumping crab, salmon, etc. on the market to finance the Ukraine War

Third hand info. Having said that, I think I am pretty close to the source and I doubt you will hear that on the Six O'Clock Bad News.

WASHINGTON — FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this fall.

The national test will consist of two portions, testing WEA and EAS capabilities. Both tests are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
