Good point ... and promoted him as the toughest, fairest prosecutor in D.C. {Where have we heard that before? 👎🤯} I wonder if there is some confusion with the Independent Counsel statute.
I give credit to Barr for putting an end to the Russia hoax and the Mueller 'probe'. I also give credit to Mitch McConnell for keeping the insidious Merrick Garland off of the Supreme Ct and promoting PDJT's judges. Their usefulness appears to have ended there. We 'conservatives' have learned to take what we can get. grrrrr
I think it was after Clinton and the blue dress, but the statute changed. It's no longer called "independent counsel" it is now "special counsel" and apparently watered down. The nomenclature - and what we're seeing - sure points out there is nothing independent about the role and the use special treatment of some is clear.
