I try my best to read the entire text and seek to understand it’s meaning rather than select just a few lines of scripture out of context and then project my own meaning upon it.
16-34 was a separate passage from the rest of chapter. That section has its own context that speaks most directly and in many ways against what you have been saying. 16-34 was Paul in Athens speaking to the learned intellectuals.
