I found that reading a scripture and then using contemplative prayer is one of the best learning tools. That process brings on the experiences.
When I read St Teresa’s Interior Castle, it makes complete sense. The same is true of many other church teachers including Luther.
However, the same is true when I read the Bhagavad Gita.... or the Upanishads or Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa. They are all describing the same process.
Interesting......however, what about people who have not had the benefit of education - perhaps never learned to read or write. What is their path to salvation?

The society that produced those writings kept people in caste bondage and spiritual darkness. Galatians 3:26-29 testifies against them! “
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
You do equate these writings with the Godhead’s full expression of Radiance in the flesh which is Jesus Christ!!??
1 John 4 testifies against this!
