I love my dog to pieces. I adopted her from Chicago Animal Care and Control, where she was days away from being euthanized due to overcrowding. Nobody wanted her because she needed expensive dental work, but despite my low income, I was happy to take her home (for $60), save up some money and have her left canine pulled. It was snapped in half horizontally from chewing on the bars of a crate, according to my vet. She’s got a scar across her neck too from being used as breeder and bait by the worthless ferals in the city.
She’s the sweetest thing; I would never in a million years abandon my dog. If I travel with my dog, it’s by car, end of story.
