On a trip back to the South a few decades ago, I popped into a coffee shop for a pick me up. Saw that I was going to get 90 cents back in change, so I flipped a dime on to the counter. I got a dull-eyed "whut's that for?" in response. Spent the next 5 minutes trying to explain it and eventually gave up and said just gimme the change. This was in Memphis, btw.
As for that kid in Hayden, I hope he never takes up reloading for a hobby.
“Reloading” — no kidding!
I’ve taken up pizza making as a hobby. There’s simple math involved to calculate the crust ingredients and timing (they even call it “bakers’ math”!). I don’t think he’d make it creating pizzas, but failures wouldn’t be as spectacular as miscalculating loads.
