That looks more like the old (in their heyday) Radio Shack store! I absolutely LOVED Radio Shack and Tandy stores!
Of course, back then, we kids actually BUILT radios, we didn’t go buy one! We MADE our own belts and hatbands, we didn’t go buy one! I made my first voltmeter from a small kit and extra parts purchased at Radio Shack! Made a radio. Made a remote control for my light switch (had two small actuator arms attached above and below the switch, and depending on the button I pushed, it would turn the switch on and off)!
I could get lost for hours in a brick-and-mortar store like Tayda Electronics!
My Dad actually built a HeathKit TV, took him a few years, but he finally got it done.
