So you get a freebie? I’m sure they knew all about it. But this created a big public outcry (supporting the Sikhs, of course) and even in CA they had enough sense to do something. Originally they were talking about charging the Sikhs and now they’re not - so this is doubly good news.

It’s called vigilante action. And the truth is, the American founders and patriots were also “vigilantes” and “insurrectionists”. Had they had the same wussiefied pacifist stance as some now have, we would still be under British rule and would be just AS screwed up and socialist/communist as the UK is now. God bless the American founders. They gave it their best shot. They couldn’t have anticipated the level and depth of cowardice and corruption that we are now suffering from.
