Does anyone actually think Trump stops long enough to actually think things through? He’s a brawler. He is addicted to social media and his MO in a fight is to run to Twitter and lash out. His strategic plan is to win the next 5 minute news cycle. He latches onto anything at hand from any source that fits his mood at the moment, throws it out there, and sees what sticks. This is not 4D chess.

4D chess is what we saw from the Bush campaign in the 2000 Florida fight, when Gore and the DNC tried to steal and election by throwing out all existing law and precedent and empowering democrat Jack controlled panels in four counties to manufacture votes out of pregnant Chad’s, dimples and fly specks. The Bush response? Out walked James Baker leading a phalanx of grim faced heavyweight lawyers in gray suits that looking like something from Central Casting for a Hollywood epic on “The Lawyers You Don’t Want To Tangle With.” James Baker was the boss, the message discipline was absolute, they knew exactly the points they had to sustain, and the focus was total. No loose talk, no freelancing clowns, and false leads. It was the Gore/DNC team that was flailing because their only hope was to create chaos and invent a way to cheat, and they counted on winning in the court of public opinion given that the media was all in on the steal.

The main reason Florida got so messy was that the Florida Supreme Cout went rogue, abandoned the law, and acted as a partisan saboteur. The Bush legal team, which was defending established law and precedent, won most of the rounds in Florida’s lower courts and again in the Federal courts. It was the Florida Supremes who kept creating chaos.

The Trump legal effort in 2020? Sheer chaos, and the communications HQ was Twitter. Trump’s official legal team — who were the actual lead lawyers and how many floated in and out of the picture?— was completely overshadowed by freelancers who were off chasing kracken and half a dozen other internet speculations. These folks were serious and some were superficially persuasive enough to gain social media traction, but they all struck out whle Trump’s nonstopped twitterfog confused things. The strategy turned out to be to flail wildly in all directions, make smoke, and hope to get lucky somewhere.

No, Trump was not deliberately propagating a lie. Trump was throwing out speculations and leads on Twitter and hoping that someone else could connect the dots. And Trump seems to have a boundless capacity to believe whatever social media rumor is convenient for him at the moment— and if something else comes along in the next 15 minutes, he’ll jump to that.

He’s a brawler. He doesn’t stop to think. A lot of people like him simply because he fights. But he routinely picks fights he can’t win, and he doesn’t plan enough to play the foundation for fights he might win if he laid the foundation.

Democrat Jacks = democrat hacks. On the road, don’t have my desktop, and fighting small screen issues.

P.S. With regard to my #32, there were massive irregularities in 2020, and very possibly enough to change the outcome. But that has to be proven in court, and Trump’s lawyers got blown out of every court in which they brought a case. The biggest problem in 2020, as most of us agree, is that the democrats used covid to upend established law and improvise an election which was wide open not only to cheating but to vote harvesting, which the dems have now essentially legalized. That will ultimately be the end of legitimate elections. And now Trump’s position is that Republicans need to go all in on vote harvesting — which means we have to learn to out-cheat the dems. That is exactly wrong, but Trump right now has us on the path to final surrender.

“ Does anyone actually think Trump stops long enough to actually think things through?”

When your entire thesis is based on this lack of comprehension, the entire thing can and should be ignored.
