They’re not accurate in NYS.

Nor even for the public sector.

There are large numbers of jobs open.

But people either don’t want to move here or don’t want to work.

A couple of years ago I had a temp job with the Census Bureau and my boss told me that there was a good permanent job I could have in NYC. I asked if I could telecommute and was told no.

Although I wouldn't mind living in the Connecticut suburbs they're as expensive as hell so I couldn't do it. As for NY and NJ...no way in hell!
