They fail to show how these titles were fastened in place. I would be interested in knowing that. Don't know how these are done, but since the tiles are heavy, I've seen where they just put a block at the bottom of the row to keep them from sliding down.

“Cuban” tiles were formed over the thigh, then installed using cement. One row was upside-down, the next row right-side up.
