The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Credentials and Certification Committee has recommended that Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory have their ABIM certifications revoked.
The committee accuses the doctors of spreading “false or inaccurate medical information” that is not based in “consensus driven” scientific evidence. Although the certifications don’t impact the doctors’ ability to practice medicine or conduct scientific research, revoking them sends a chilling message across the world that censoring doctors is acceptable and sets a precedent for the future.
