I’m not only serious, it has happened.
I was walking with my dear friend and next door neighbor when a bear ran right in front of us and down a side street.
She started running after the bear and I had to run to stop her!
I said WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, CRAZY LADY?
She said she just wanted to see where it went.
This bear was being tracked by Game and Fish, it was hanging out in our neighborhood and killing pets, chickens and killed 2 goats next door.
Finally caught it using the goat remains and they had to destroy it as it was not afraid of humans and would just come back to continue to terrorize our neighborhood and could eventually kill a human.
Not the 1st or last bear seen in the neighborhood but probably the most dangerous one so far.
When they come out of hibernation in the Spring, that’s when I really watch out and in the Fall before they hibernate as they are trying to bulk-up for the winter.
Don’t want to be considered “bulk” for a bear.
Good grief, Gran!
And you go walking???!!!!!
Wow - you’re a brave one. I’m quite sure I wouldn’t even take the garbage out!
