I had the same question. I agree with the answer. The people had been conditioned to trust government officials without question, and this had devastating results.
Allegedly 700 children, (along with unknown number of adults), burned to death, alone in their homes, no way to call for help, cell phones off, not able to talk to anyone.
I can't imagine how frightened they must have been.
Then there are the rescuer's reports of finding remains of children's burned up bodies shielding their pet, and parent's bodies shielding their children. Just horrendous. ðŸ˜
Minimally, the cops who blocked the road, the mayor, and the guy who wouldn't let the water be turned on, should be made to help recover the remains of the people who died.
