CB, does your DH have a big green egg? You can cook amazing pizzas on those!
Years (decades) ago, I tried to build a pizza oven. I used fire bricks for the base, chicken wire and adobe (sort of) for the top. It worked for a bit then fell apart as the GA adobe attempt fell apart 😂. It was fun to do tho
The reason for specific pizza oven are temps that can be achieved. 900–1000. One can of course cook other things at lower temps
Does the green egg get hot enough? No he doesn’t have one, not yet anyway:-)
