“I used to run a granite/quartz/solid surface fabricating shop, so I’ve seen them all!”
I didn’t know that, boy you have done a bunch of interesting things.
Yeah that’s exactly it, it has red tones in it, it’s called typhoon bordeaux. Not all of it has the red tones that’s why I included the second picture, they didn’t ask me what parts of the slab I wanted where, or I would have put the best parts next to my knobs. The stove’s knobs I mean. lol
I feel totally blessed, I went back into the same place to see what typhoon Bordeaux they had because we need to do the laundry room and I’ll do some counters in my bedroom. Oh and the bathroom. It would have been okay to have something different in the laundry room but I really wanted that color in the bedroom because I already have a red cushion and pillows to go in the window seat in between the counters. The slab they had was icky. Apparently you can have typhoon Bordeaux without any Bordeaux in it. I told her I would look around some more, there’s other Granite shops but this one is actually the cheapest. And they did our last kitchen so we knew they did good work. The others are just trying to take advantage of all the people moving in. Anyway she called me about a week later and said she was looking through their warehouse and found a slab for me! She sent a picture it looked exactly like the slab I got before, must have been from the same lot.
I’m not really obsessing on this color but we’re looking at a new car and one of the options is a burgundy interior...I kinda like it!
Nice! I love it when everything works out!
Bordeaux. That reminds me of the joke I posted about boxed wine. I’ll post it again, as nobody read it, or they read it and didn’t get it, or they just didn’t think it was funny. Ready?
Boxed wine - Cardbordeaux.
Right?
