Hopefully they will finish today. And I need to wait a week. It would normally be less time but we have had heavy rains and they want the part on the hill to dry completely before driving on it. I thought they would have to wait until everything was dry to Asphalt it. But here if they do that, they would never get any work done!
They got the drainage wrong starting at the top though, when it rains or we let water out of the pool, it’s supposed to go into this channel on the right side of the driveway. They have it sloped so it goes to the left and will erode the hill over there. So they’ll have to come back to fix that. Luckily we haven’t paid them a penny yet. Kind of odd they’d be willing to do so much work without at least a Down payment.

Could this be the result of our failing education system, don’t teach the right side from the left?
