You should post links to all of the Babylon Bee videos on YouTube about this phenomenon. They are hilarious. I am too lazy to post a hyperlink.

Check his join date.

I did more than that. I checked a page of his comments. Doesn’t seem at all liberal to me. A bit brash perhaps but conservatives on F.R. are known to be that way sometimes.
Sign on dates don’t mean squat, I’m sure he didn’t start forming his political philosophy on the day he joined F.R.

With all these people moving in, I worry about pollution. I really think some public transportation projects, and some bike lanes would be good. Oh yeah - and I feel really bad about the homeless.....maybe some non-judgey shelters where they can shoot smack in safety.
I'm also noticing the laws are kinda strict here, maybe we should do away cash bail, shorten prison sentences, and reduce the size of the police force to pay for it all, maybe cease targeting the poor and stop prosecuting non-violent crimes like shoplifting.
Then, everything would be just perfect........

California would be Democrat even without the immigrants, though it wouldn’t be so Democrat.
Some of those leaving California think of selves as “climate refugees.” They aren’t voting Republican.

A lot depends on what New Yorkers or Northeasterners migrate to Florida. Jews who migrate to Southeast Florida brought their liberal politics with them. So do the sort of people drawn to the theme parks in Orlando. However, non-Jewish middle class whites from the Northeast who dominate in The Villages are very conservative. Ditto for the Midwestern retirees along the Florida Gulf Coast..

In the last decades the balance has tipped decidedly in favor of conservatives and reflex liberals who have had their reflexes jarred so that rationality takes over.

... just need some more services...
That variety of Yank immigrants seems to have been replaced, at least in Florida, by conservatives and liberals who can rationally process what they see. They have realized that 2+2 does not equal Pi.

I’ve met a few Pacific Northwest transplants here in Texas. They seem like fine folks.

Austin is the anus of Texas and El Paso is the armpit.
Not sure how to describe Dallas, maybe a headache.
Ft. Worth/San Antonio used to be very conservative, but not so much anymore (mostly from illegals, I think)....
I guess Houston would be real back jock-itch.
I miss living in rural/countryside Texas ☹️😔
(Dang.. someone could use this in a song!, lol)
