There used to be a joke going around about the 'pampered Dunwoody housewife' - which is the Atlanta version of [pick the most expensive close-in suburb] woman with too much money and no taste --

"How do you tell when the pampered Dunwoody housewife is in mourning?"

"Black tennis dress."

We were in the carpool line in a private school adjoining Dunwoody when a tall, slim, tanned blonde flitted across the parking lot in a black tennis dress. Of course all the kids shouted, "Mama! Mama! Is she in mourning?" And the windows were down. Of course.
