This person “Denys Davydov” posts positive reports exclusively on the Ukraine / Russian conflict. Who is this person and are they credible? While Russia has taken some large losses, Ukraine seems to be sucking hind tit since the start. FWIW, I’m not for either one of them but I’m for not sending any more money to anyone propping up the MIC and the cronies that benefit like Black Rock.

Davydov mainly comments on changes in the front line maps, which are maintained by third party organizations and are filled out on the basis of announcements and information provided by both sides. There are several “warmappers”, aligned with both sides.

Both sides maps correspond very closely and any conflicting claims of advances, etc. are sorted out within a day or two. There is an exceptional degree if agreement between both sides in this. So if Davydov says the Ukrainians have advanced x km, or taken such and such a village, its almost certainly correct.

His other news is either from the Uke MOD or western/Uke “open source”. Sometimes from Russian MOD or pro-Russian media and internet sources.

--- "“Denys Davydov”........ "Who is this person?" And "the cronies that benefit like Black Rock."

The daily posting of the Denys Davydov YouTube video is part of a larger behavior. Monetized YouTube videos, promoted on this and the previous threads. As you asked, I herein provide information which can be validated about the various YouTube channel promotions passed off as "news."

In descending order for your review ---

The channel "Kanal13" is monetized! Since Nov 6, 2012, the channel has generated 2,020,765,228 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $6,062,295.68 over 3915 days. That's an average of $565,194.87 per year.

The channel "Reporting from Ukraine" is monetized! Since Mar 4, 2022, the channel has generated 134,056,490 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $402,169.47 over 510 days. That's an average of $287,827.17 per year.

The channel "Combat Veteran Reacts" is monetized! Since Mar 8, 2021, the channel has generated 116,641,354 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $349,924.06 over 871 days. That's an average of $146,638.67 per year.

The channel "UATV English" is monetized! Since Feb 8, 2017, the channel has generated 253,671,329 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $761,013.99 over 2360 days. That's an average of $117,699.20 per year.

The channel "Warthog Defense" is monetized! Since Sep 13, 2016, the channel has generated 253,289,080 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $759,867.24 over 2508 days. That's an average of $110,586.74 per year.

The channel "Operator Starsky 🇺🇦" is monetized! Since Jan 10, 2019, the channel has generated 37,746,078 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $113,238.23 over 1659 days. That's an average of $24,913.78 per year.

The channel "Divine Justice" is monetized! Since Jan 4, 2018, the channel has generated 38,425,881 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $115,277.64 over 2030 days. That's an average of $20,727.26 per year.

The channel "NIT International" is monetized! Since Dec 3, 2013, the channel has generated 63,516,331 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $190,548.99 over 3523 days. That's an average of $19,741.81 per year.

The channel "The Pioneer" is monetized! Since Feb 7, 2008, the channel has generated 18,838,664 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $56,515.99 over 5649 days. That's an average of $3,651.68 per year.

Tallying these few (of many more) YouTube channels as is documented above and as cited by UMCrevmom, some daily and some less frequently, to total is $1,385,305.63 per year.

And we're only in July, so this year is not complete. So much more monetization to harvest from the Ukraine-Russia event from these few channels. Please note the start dates for these channels, as many predate the Russian invasion, and some even before the Maidan. Motivating clicks is a part of the "game."

As to your comment about Blackrock, I offer the following:

"...a 2001 moratorium on the sale of land to foreigners had always represented an obstacle to unrestrained privatisation. As post-Maidan governments turned again to the IMF for financing, aid was conditioned on a series of land reforms that would finally allow foreign corporations to acquire vast tracts of the country's farmland. In 2020, Zelenskyy gave in to the IMF's demands and finally repealed the moratorium. 'Agribusiness interests and oligarchs will be the primary beneficiaries of such reform,' said Olena Borodina of the Ukrainian Rural Development Network. 'This will only further marginalise smallholder farmers and risks severing them from their most valuable resource.' But the World Bank could barely contain its excitement, gushing: 'This is, without exaggeration, a historic event.' Even though the new law isn't set to come into force until next year, US and Western European agrobusinesses have already bought up millions of hectares of Ukraine's farmland — with 10 private companies reportedly controlling most of it."

Make of the above as you will, but it is assured that this particular daily thread promotes pro-Zelensky government materials as if detailed "news" of the war between two non-NATO nations at war.

Count the channels mentioned above. Very few individuals are likely profiting -- some wildly -- through, in part, from the daily promotional thread on Free Republic.

To be somewhat balanced, some of the anti-Z YouTube videos touted in other Free Republic threads as "news" are also monetized. None of them, to my looking around, approach the sheer volume and scope of these.

As to the above, please check for yourself if you've questions.

Other sites offer some similar examinations. Thanks for posing valid questions.

Davydov is a Ukrainian, reputedly a former commercial airline pilot. He naturally has a strong pro-Ukrainian slant. Some people like that.

Personally, I don’t believe anything coming from any side. The Belarusian guy on the Military Summary Channel has a more Russian POV, but he calls out the Russians for doing stupid stuff (even calls it “stupid”) when warranted, and reports when Ukraine has gains and wins. He also only relies on geo-located videos. Still, I take much of his stuff with a spoonful of salt.

I love maps and used to looking at military maps, so I like the Belarusian guy’s videos more than some others. His military analysis is pretty good; his political analysis, not so much.
