This reminds me of the old William Colby case.

Colby, former CIA Director, was a former Olympic swimmer who managed to allegedly drown in the Potomac.

I didn’t buy it for a nanosecond.

Carol Rosenbloom comes to mind as well, (He owned the Rams before his wife Georgia inherited them)

He swam daily in the ocean at his property in Florida, yet he 'drowned' as well.

I, along with many thousands of LA Ram fans, never bought that story.
