Boots/rain slide -
Haha! No, but I should have had my light-up boots on today. We got rained on for most of the round and my playing companions whined like cranky 3 year-olds for the last 6 holes. I encouraged them to walk in to stay dry and I’d join them in 45 minutes, but they chose to stay and be somewhat unpleasant. I had my cell phone with me and offered to call the pro shop who’d have come and driven them in, but they still declined. My light-up boots might have added some much-needed levity to the last few holes, and kept my feet dry. Most of my golf shoes are leather and waterproof but I wore a pair of mainly fabric shoes, not realizing it was going to rain (how did I miss that?). My feet were wet through to my socks from the 4th hole onward and I had very wrinkled toes by the time we were done. We all have our own version of fun. 😊
