It’s amazing how much you can cook the books (you see what I did there?) when, instead of taking measurements above the planet’s surface, you take them off the ground.

I’m sure these paragons of virtue would never take the majority of readings off of pavement.

Or would they take readings from censors placed under air conditioning exhaust vents? (I recall there was a story about this some time back.)

And Shirley they wouldn't change numbers, use fake numbers and lie to the entire world, about anything?

Shirley knot.

Oh wait....?? wasn't there some global event a few years ago, where they changed numbers, changed facts, lied to the whole world, and locked it down?

🤔

Record this and record that. That’s another word the libs have stolen and done a 180 on the definition. You try to tell people to do their own research from the past or merely check the weather channel for current temperatures... sigh, but the sheeple they are, they’d rather listen to the lies.

In 1980, it was 115 in TX where I’d come in after work and sit in front of the fridge with nothing but a wet towel. Yes, I’ve posted that before on FR. Funny how the weather folk’s record books don’t go back that far.

They must also have misplaced 2011 records when we had their constantly touted “100 days of 100+ temperatures”. That summer, rivers were bone dry and towns were out of water. They were having to bring water in by rail and some resorted to water witching. Yep, I posted that on FR back then.

I haven’t had to get a wet towel this year and the river is running full. The heat isn’t hitting us in the face when we open an outside door so I’ve been enjoying nice mornings on the porch.

Ya know, we haven’t seen headlines from France of people dropping like flies from not having fans this summer.
