A post was put up on a public forum.
Therefore, anyone can comment on that post, in any way they want as long as it doesn’t violate the rules of the site.
So, if someone wants to talk talk about martians and aliens from outer space, fine. If someone wants to comment about the millions of illegal aliens coming over the southern border, that is also fine.
Not true. Jim recently made a comment on posting behavior in which, among other things, he spoke about spamming threads with unrelated posts and comments that were harassing, trolling etc. instead of being on-topic discussions.
Out of politeness, we agree to allow people to talk about what they wish with being told they aught to talk about something else. If you start a thread, you’d prefer people to stay on topic and not tell you to use your time differently. Damn that Golden Rule, right?
