Oh it is true that Newton had an eclectic mind, was fascinated by much and did many things to support himself and advance his career. For instance after concluding that the concept of the Trinity was false, he became an Anglican priest so that he could become at Professor at Oxford ( ironically at Holy Trinity College within Oxford). If he were alive today, no doubt he would be fascinated by the subject of UFOs but his conclusions may not have comforted today’s avid believes in the phenomena. All human beings unlike other species have a capacity for mysticism. This neurological capability is probably at the core of research, imagination, wonderment and creativity. Its not to say all mystical conclusions or beliefs held by individuals are valid. Yet without a mystical capacity, human progress would occur at a glacial pace.
