The game is to control the narrative—particularly framing the issue as a “threat” to enrich military industrial complex contractors—as well as the hilarious “we don’t know what they are” mantra to hide the fact that some insiders know exactly what they are.

Yep. Mellon is a flat-earther distraction operative who has pet squirrels at home and claims that aliens are flying across the universe in faster-than-light space ships...and they don't believe in Einstein.
