Former Defense Official Shares Claims Of Off-World Technology, Expects New Revelations At UFO Hearing

An ex-Department of Defense (DoD) official made some out-of-this-world claims about UFOs on Monday.

Christopher Mellon, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence and Senate staffer, told NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that a congressional hearing scheduled for Wednesday provides an “opportunity” to better understand the issue from credible sources.

[...]

Planned by a House Oversight subcommittee, the hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) is set to feature testimony from two former Navy pilots who claim to have witnessed mysterious flying objects that appear to defy the laws of physics while participating in training exercises.

Also announced as a witness was David Grusch, a U.S. military and intelligence veteran who has gone public with allegations about crafts of non-human origin being retrieved and kept from Congress.

Lending some credence to Grusch’s assertions about a cover-up, Mellon said he has been told that “we have recovered technology that did not originate on this earth by officials in the Department of Defense and by former intelligence officials,” some of whom he has referred “to the office that is undertaking this investigation.”

Mellon also said he expects Grusch “will provide some new information that we have not heard before” at the hearing, but he stressed that Grusch is limited by law in what he can reveal, including identifying intelligence personnel who may be involved in the matter.

It was a Republican, Schiff from New Mexico.

Here is an article discussing it:

Notice the date.

1994!

It was actually Goldwater, and the General was LeMay.

The Federal government also has unlimited resources to make real claims look false.

Let’s just go back to the “Not feeding the trolls” policy.

A very sound policy. Ignoring them works every time.

I think it is a lot worse than embarrassing—because criminal activities are ongoing.

Very much so.

If there is anything that is going to keep "disclosure" from happening, it is this.

Someone once told me that disclosure won't happen unless every former President is dead and a new one has yet to be sworn in. I thought he was kidding at the time. Now, not so much.

I used to think some Presidents were not read into the program at all. Now, I'm pretty sure all Presidents have some knowledge of the program...how much and how deep depends on their background. George Bush Senior was former CIA so he knew it all and I can assume his son was well informed. Carter, being a Navy man, probably knew more than Clinton or Obama. Trump was likely told little.

Didn't remember Goldwater bringing it up but I was referring to a congressman specifically. Wish I could remember his name but I distinctly remember him appearing on TV, probably CSPAN, He was pretty popular, nice looking and articulate.

Notice the date.

The name didn't ring a bell but a search for his picture made me think he was the man I remember. Of course I remember the Roswell incident well so who would trust my memory.

“Trump was likely told little.”

Interesting topic.

Many researchers believe President Trump is “playing dumb” on this topic.

His uncle is a fascinating individual—most likely shared some of the “secrets”:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_G._Trump

Now the next clue needs you to fasten your seat belt—this book actually exists:

There are two other similar books written in the 1890s by the same author.

This is a wild rabbit hole...

His uncle is a fascinating individual—most likely shared some of the “secrets”:

My uncle passed recently. I had really hoped he would share more before he went, but it was not to be. During his life he did let a couple of things slip - directly or indirectly:

He spent a lot a time at Area 51 and they do more than test aircraft there.

He spoke a lot about the atomic aircraft project - now declassified - and how the building that housed it was the largest single building, in volume, in the world, and they couldn't tell anyone.

The government has Tesla's files. The contents are highly classified. They led to HAARP. Our cell phone network is more than just a cell phone network.

For a while he was an instructor at the NIA or National Intelligence Academy in Fort Lauderdale, near the Executive Airport. I got a tour once. Back in the 80's they had listening devices so small I thought they were impossible. They had a device that could read info off a computer's hard drive even if the computer was off. For fun they would lock padlocks together in a chain and time who could unlock them fastest. I saw a guy unlock 5 padlocks in about 20 seconds.

I remember, when I was a kid, my uncle having an argument/discussion with my parents. My folks insisted on living in South Florida and my uncle was trying to convince them it wasn't safe...that he couldn't guarantee their safety there. Something about the water table. In retrospect, I wonder if my uncle had access to the tunnels and, in case of emergency, could bring some family? And that maybe, because in South Florida if you dig down six feet or so you hit water, there wasn't a lot of nearby tunnel access? I would venture to guess you would have to go to MacDill AFB or maybe the Kennedy Space Center to hit a military place that was on some sort of firmer ground. Those are a good 4+ hour drive away.

Interesting post—agree your uncle probably knew where there were DUMBs (deep underground military bases) which of course could house folks in the event of a nuclear attack or other disaster.

Rumors are that the ones in the south are under East Tennessee/North Georgia/North Alabama.
