There are a lot of people looking for “cheap” and “lower calorie” beer. I never found the appeal, but some just don’t have the money to spend on more expensive beers.

A lot of people drink beer all day long, 12 to 24 of them, every day, that gets expensive, and a good German Altbier doesn’t go down as quickly and as easily as a cold, carbonated light beer.
