***Climate change is recognized by leading scientists as a natural phenomenon that has occurred throughout history. ***

How true. IN 1942, MGM released a Traveltalks short on Glacier and Waterton National Parks, in which it was shown the Earth has been warming since the last Ice Age, and “If there is no climatic change, the glaciers would soon be gone in a thousand years.”

So, the earth is warming, and will continue to do so until natural forces hurl us back into the 6th Ice Age, which no doubt will be blamed on humans.

And we puny humans think we can stop it?

Where it comes to glaciers, people keep saying "yes, they've been melting since the last ice age, but they're melting much faster today than in the past."

What they don't recognize is that that is to be fully expected, because the surface area to volume ratio increases as an object becomes smaller, and also because its thermal mass decreases.

The smaller they get, the faster they melt. Anyone can do a table top experiment with an ice cube to show this.
