Neither IRS nor Weiss had the power to proceed without approval of that Tax division of DOJ...which rejected Weiss's requests.
This caught the smart RAT lawyer/pol with the bandana off guard. He kept trying to say Weiss had the authority. He was flat-out REFUTED by this expert whistleblower. (But this point is not even being presented by R. media today, as far as I have seen/heard.)
The other major learning was that Barr, the old C_A drug smuggling crony of VP GHWB and Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton (cf Mena AR) was right in the middle of the HB coverup. (He also appointed the toothless Weiss, making him technically a Trump appointee. RATs were thinking ahead, even before Xiden took office.
