Take comfort, it could be worse. You could have 3 months of temps over 100°F, including a couple days over 110°F (actual temp, not "heat indices"), like we did here last year . . .
Of course, this year it's only reached 100°F on a few separate days, so the local weatherpeople are hyping the hell out of the horrible, terrible, never-before-seen "heat indices" that are always at least 10 degrees higher than the actual temps.
Aklshully it's almost impossible for it to get worse here. We can't get much above 95 because the dew point is so high. 85% humidity is fairly normal. With the humidity in the sun it feels like 105-110. At least we're allowed to sweat. That heat is dangerous for you desert folk when it's so dry.
