Me as well,I had a customer just returned from their fishing in the pacific ocean. He went out 100 miles in 5,000 feet of water and fished a “steeple” at 1,800 feet. They caught and released 15 of 30 blue marlin in a single day on 50 lb. gear. A catch of a lifetime!! With the murders increasing it won’t help the fishing industry there.

I hear the chicoms have moved in as well. It’s no coincidence that Central America is having problems as we fall from grace due to the cabal taking down America

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think of it as the bill capital of the world??

I wasn’t out that far, but got a pacific sail catch & release (with pix). lifetime experience for me.

noticed several big russian owned yachts out on the ocean in that area. no chinese, but this trip was 4 years ago

Great catch,Costa Rica has been a fishing destination for much of the Islamorada fleet for years. Pacific sailfish are twice as big as Atlantic sails a great fight. The longliners almost destroyed the fishery some years ago but I hear it's making a comeback.

They have it all from cubera to snook to offshore stuff yellowfin tuna you name it.
