I don’t understand the list of TB meds that you posted.
Is each line a different medicine, so you are listing six different medicines?
What do the letters in parentheses stand for?
Are there dosage recommendations?
Thank you for any clarification you can give.
Mrs. K
Ping me if you get more info. I copied it up but have no clue.
Yes, they are a series of meds over 2-3 months if you get regular TB. Resistant TB differs. As I stated, Rifampin being one of the two month series drugs is an ass-whoopin. Huge fatigue and orange urine, not forecast by the doc who gave them too me. Quite a surprise but it hammers your system and all germs in view. Taking it for something as trivial as prophylaxis and having the effects was surprising. Very thorough stuff.
Sorry, the letters in parentheses is just another ID for the same drug. 6 meds, six lines in order. I will have to look @ The Physicians’ Desk Reference (PDR) for the actual dosage/times. A troublesome complicated sturdy germ. Thanks Joe. But this could be more ‘COVID!” hysteria.
